You never know where former colleagues might turn up. In my case, my work alunni includes the MP for Reading East, the Worldwide VP of Comms for Paypal, and senior PR and comms heads for Intel, Cisco, Bloomberg and BT. Not to mention those who went on to found their own very successful agencies. Never, ever underestimate the influence that your work colleagues today may wield in the future.
